Probably my fault for not being well rested before starting. First day was ok. If Koda was winning I’d let her out to pee, & if she’d still whined, I’d just love her up & reassure her family would by coming back, & it worked for a while. Day two, I took her & Westin to the field for about :30, and they both seemed satisfied & tired. But by the time we reached your house, Koda was revved up and ready to go again! So I threw the ball for her in your front courtyard for a while. Once inside, her whining started again, incessantly. I was in the downstairs bathroom & she whined at the door, so I let her in. She came & put her head between my knees, so sweet, but then she looked up at me & whined again. I couldn’t figure out what she needed.😩 I think it’s the maternal dna in me that is really stricken when I hear ANYBODY crying. The NEED to run to the rescue and try to help them. So my nerves started to get a little jangled. NOT HER FAULT, at all!! Later that night I went down the hill to bring Dora up. Westin was barking & didn’t want to stop. I was trying to set Dora up in the boys room, and get everyone settled in for the night. Myself included. Westie slept downstairs. It felt like I had just closed my eyes, when Stephanie called the next morning to see if Lucy could come & take Koda to the field. Of course I let her, & tried to go back to sleep. I took both dogs again in the afternoon, then went to water for your Mom. When I came back Westin was barking his head off again, and she was chiming in. I let them out to pee, & when they came back in Koda started whining again, and then depositing little puddles of pee everywhere on your brand clean floor!! Nooo! Let me continue later…
